The Minotaur
Every seven years Athens gave 14 tributes to King Minos for the Minotaur to eat. Theseus volunteered to be one of these tributes in order to slay the Minotaur. On his arrival in Crete, Ariadne, King Minos's daughter, fell in love with Theseus and, on the advice of Daedalus, gave him a ball of thread. This clew would help him out of the Labyrinth that the Minotaur was in. That night, Theseus found the Minotaur in the heart of the Labyrinth. After an epic battle, Theseus turned out the victor.
